i only produce around 100 to 150 heads per season, the zamboanga blend would be around 15 to 20 heads. majority would be the lacy's and boston roundheads crossed with each other.
would love to produce more, but i have only a limited space and managing two yards would be a bit expensive at the moment considering fuel cost, new farm facilities to construct and additional farm hands.
i have 2 zamboanga blends, one throwing white chocolates and the other the usual sinibalang and pure whites. the white chocolates are best when fought 15 months and above, while the sinibalang and whites are perfect for stag.
the chocolates was blended with a ( nene abello ) boston roundhead and was also tried with a (LDT) Boston RH, the sinibalang/whites was blended with lacy roundhead (sidney kinsaul origin).
i'm leaning on the pure whites and sinibalang this season, hopefully i can show them come this 2012 stag derbies.
yes we do sell if someone finds our gamefowls to his liking, but at the moment i have few left in my yard.
i still believe the zamboanga whites can rebound and come back ...... i am just wondering what will happen if breeding them back to a butcher line from jesry palmares would do.

China, almost out of the woods. House arrest still enforced. Trying to get a TRO to get it lifted. Tomorrow, I have appointments with two of my doctors at Asian. Then again on Monday with another two. Hehehe. Subpoena duces tecum.....
We will surely get together. Many imports. Many orientals. No Zambo! Hehehe. Stay well.

Hi Ms.China, I have a newbie question... As per our chicken talk this morning, you mentioned whites with blue/green legs much like the ones Mr. Art Lopez is breeding. I was just wondering if:
1. There already is a strain of ZW's with dark legs, and..
2. Does the Art Lopez bloodline carry ZW blood.
Thanks,
Dondi

Re: Zamboanga White
I just mated a fast moving Asil grade stag, a Slim Benoist Silver Bullet-Boles grade over some imported "pure" White Sonatol hens from "Flying Frizzle" yesterday. Hoping to get a few eggs until the end of March, then I stop. The pullets produced should be good base blood (Oriental Heavy, with a quarter of White Kelso, the Silver Bullets according to Slim were White Kelso) under a Zambo stag. 3/8ths Oriental, 5/8ths Texas! Mukhang tama sa kwentada......

Thanks Ms. C! These dark legged whites have intrigued me ever since I saw one fight in Bohol.. I purchased the bird but unfortunately, it's bloodline is lost to me as the guy who owned it did not care much about names, he simply bred his winners to his good hens...

Re: Zamboanga White
Go together with China. But I can pm you directions. Many dogs. I think I was the first in the country to bring in the Patterdale Terriers. Feistier than the Jacks! Lots of Bulldogs. Yes, many fowl. Whites too, Slim Benoist stuff, imported a few years back from Lampasas, Texas. Some White Thai, but No Zambo. Maybe soon. Hehehe.

Re: Zamboanga White
This Saturday I will select many pullets/hens and then critically cut the number to two or three. Then we might be able to put up a pen. Let's see. Life is Good!

Thanks! Would love to see the dogs. My former farm was really meant to just be a kennel farm. Then everyone started saying how it would be an ideal rooster ground. Anyway having sold the farm, i needed to find some place closer to home. See you Saturday!

Re: Zamboanga White
If I don't drink it, there will be visitors who will. Hehehe. Be interesting for China to bring her Zambo, just to show us how they look nowadays! Pam painggit lang. I have some female biddies of Jumper Grey over RedFox Grey-Kelso being brought over for me to just let loose in the farm. Will catch them, come October. The broodcock is a handsome Grey cock, and the hens are very uniform, and full sisters. 3/4thsGrey, 1/4Kelso. Back to Zambo, I will make ready a pen for a good Zambo stag if I can buy one. Big feather was generous, but I am afraid to borrow. Many things can happen. Stay well Jeb!

Re: Zamboanga White
in my own honest opinion...zw is still a force to reckon with...they can easily win a four cock
derby...but... in this day and age of competition i give them a very slim chance to win 5 - 8 straight fights without losing...

Great! See you saturday! I really hope Mam C brings a Zambo White with her. I would like to see and hold one up close and personal. It would be like ....... Never mind hahahaha, just hoping too like Mr TM ;-)
i have a Banogon or white choco i got from Boyet Plaza i have been trying to produce some whites from him as this single stroker is really a great fighter (accuracy, timing and power) but even after giving him back the white daughters, producing the white stag is still just a dream. White daughters and white choco pullets only. Maybe, just maybe, those daughters with a ZW would give me my dream whites hahahahaha parinig parinig din kay madam darling ni sir Tiny!!!
